Our craft gin is a rare thing; one of the few single estate gins made in the UK. Everything is local, from the Winter wheat we use for the mash bill, which is grown right here on the estate, to our handpicked botanicals, all of which are sourced locally.

• We believe that great craft gin starts with great vodka. Our award-winning spirit starts life as Horatio wheat, grown here on the estate. Once the mash is fermented, we distil it through our 43-plate copper still. This creates a base spirit of extremely high quality and gives our gin the smooth taste it is famous for.
• The perfect gin needs the perfect blend of botanicals. We use a complex blend of 14 botanicals, including coriander, angelica root, cardamom and of course the classic juniper. After rigorous testing and refining of our recipe, we’ve found the ideal balance between citrus and spice for a truly British gin that’s made for a classic G+T.
• It’s easy to lose control of quality when you’re mass-producing gin to keep costs down. That’s why, at Ramsbury, we only ever distil in small batches. Even though the cost to do so is greater, we believe the sheer quality of our small batch gin speaks for itself and more than justifies the meticulous level of detail in our production process.
