Our first English craft lager, Red Ram, is quite the charmer.
This award-winning craft lager was awarded two-stars at the 2021 Great Taste Awards , and with good reason. This Red Ram is a craft lager that bursts with flavours of specially selected malt and continental hops, and as with any quality craft lager, it has a crisp and refreshing finish.
Our Red Ram ale is brewed here on the Estate and is the perfect crisp and refreshing craft lager for every occasion.
Red Ram is a proper craft lager and distinctively moreish. Our expert brewers here at the Ramsbury Estate brewery recommend that our Red Ram is enjoyed and paired with a fresh fish dish, or even just by itself at the end of a long day. This craft lager of course, is best served chilled.
Our Ramsbury Gold ale is where it all began; it is the first and best known beer of the Ramsbury collection.
A rich golden ale, Ramsbury Gold is brewed with our own malted barley, a little torrified wheat and English Golding hops, gives this ale its distinctively light, hoppy aroma and taste.
If you’re a fan of Ramsbury Gold, have you tried our delicious, Ramsbury Gold Fudge? Made in partnership with Marsden’s Fudge, this artisan product is the perfect treat for craft beer lovers everywhere.

A smooth, continental style blonde beer with a story to tell. We first brewed it as a tribute to the American 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, who during 1943 in preparation for D-Day, were accommodated in Ramsbury and nearby villages. ‘Currahee’, the regimental motto, means ‘stand alone’ and we hope that this ale too, with its smooth taste and citrus finish, does just that.
Combining two popular ale flavourings, our Belapur IPA is reminiscent of a classic Indian Pale Ale, complemented by a hint of traditional English Ale added to the mix.
The wondrous creation of our English-style India Pale Ale, aptly named Belapur IPA, boasts a well hopped flavour with a fruity, citrus finish.
How To Enjoy Ramsbury’s Indian Pale Ale
Our Belapur IPA is in the pale ale category. For the best food pairings, we recommend that you enjoy this Indian Pale Ale with fresh meats, such as our wild venison burgers.
Our Honey Bee Nectar is a perfect example of a sweet, honeyed beer. Available as a bottle-only ale, this light, golden-coloured beer is the result of our cooperation with North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (ANOB).
The North Wessex Downs ANOB is a unique and spectacular landscape of tranquil open downland, ancient woodland and chalk streams, boasting a beautiful array of wildlife.
All of our honey beer’s ingredients, save the hops, come from within the AONB – and the brew has the addition of local honey from Ramsbury, perfectly encapsulating the wonders of the British countryside that spans areas of Berkshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire and Wiltshire.

The Ramsbury Experience Tour

If you’re looking for a unique experience in one of the most picturesque parts of the country, then you’ve found yourself on the right page! We are delighted to be launching the ‘Ramsbury Experience’ an off-road tour of the Ramsbury estate which promises some of the most spectacular views across the North Wessex Downs and a tour of our brewery and distillery.
Here’s what to expect from the day:
You will begin the day with a warm welcome at our 300-year old coaching inn, The Bell at Ramsbury, where you will be picked up by our tour guide and off-road lorry for a ‘countryside safari’ tour of the Ramsbury estate. This is your exclusive access to the Ramsbury Estates, your journey takes you off road and through the beautiful Wiltshire downs and woodland. See where the abundance of wildlife makes the estate its home. When you reach our brewery & distillery you will be able to enjoy plenty of tastings of our finest craft ales and spirits whilst you see how we produce our award-winning products, before returning to The Bell
